Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had charming rooms with French doors opening to a small balcony, well-furnished, in a prime location with plenty of nearby restaurants and close to the city center for easy access to Madrid's sights. However, there were some service issues like not providing enough hangers and not washing up after room cleaning.
I stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The rooms were comfortable and equipped with kitchenettes, but being on the 3rd floor at the back meant no views. The service was friendly, but there were some issues with forgotten clothes and inconsistencies in managing smoking areas. The location, although central, was noisy due to nearby restaurants and bars. The dining options were decent but could use more variety. Overall, a good value for money stay with a few drawbacks.
Staying at this hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms, although lacking windows, offered exceptional balcony views of the neighborhood. However, the lack of air conditioning on a hot day was uncomfortable. The cleanliness and freshness of the room were not up to par, showing its age and wear.
Staying at the hotel was a great experience overall. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, though lacking some kitchen facilities. The service was exceptional, with the staff being helpful and gracious. The location was lively and perfect for exploring the city, with plenty of dining options nearby. The dining experience, though included in the rate, had limited choices. The facilities were satisfactory, offering what was needed for a comfortable stay.
Staying at the private apartments opposite was a pretty good deal. The rooms were very spacious, but being right next door to what seems to be a storage room was a bit of a drawback. The service was top-notch and the staff were always helpful with every question we had. The location was great in some respects, within 5 minutes walking distance from Madrid's central square of Puerta del Sol, but the area had some questionable characters hanging around. The dining experience varied, being plentiful some days but a bit boring after a while. Overall, a decent choice for a stay.
My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the location was great. I will definitely choose to stay here again in the future!
